LMI, a private, not for profit research institute is seeking applicants for a position in Northern VA area for a Strategic Communications Specialist. *This position requires an active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph clearance*

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic communication services to communicate Government initiatives and priorities across the office and the Government
  • Design and delivery of a variety of communications materials
  • Create pro-active and responsive solutions to business needs and seizing opportunities for continuous improvement in individual, team, business unit, and organizational processes
  • Coordinate with Program Office leadership to prioritize potential initiatives in the context of strategic drivers, identify and de-conflict cross-initiative schedules and resources as needed
  • Develop customer-facing and partner-facing collateral and presentations as required
  • Build powerful communications through sound strategy and excellent execution
  • Oversee client brand strategy and ensure successful implementation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field; high school, vocational school, or trade school diploma and five (5) years’ work experience in a similar field may be substituted for degree requirement
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in strategic communications with the ability to research and draft original content for a variety of communication channels and methods.
  • Ability to plan, develop, design and revise corporate websites desired
