The Financial Analyst is responsible for detailed financial planning and analysis for specific aspects of the VXsmart, VXretail, and VXexchange Operations. This position works closely with the other members of the FP&A Team to ensure revenue, costs, CapEx, and cash flow are well understood by senior management.
Essential Job Duties:
- Month end financial reporting using Excel, Dynamics 365, and Vena Financial Planning & Analysis Software
- Present monthly financial data to various levels of management
- Support month-end close
- Analysis of monthly financials and KPI's
- Prepare annual budget
- Prepare periodic forecasts
- Prepare journal entries for routine monthly transactions and correcting entries
- Track contracted ARR and update SalesForce with expected go-live dates based on input from Implementation operations.
- Track Committed ARR based on updates from SalesForce.
- Manage data workflow from finance systems to ORM revenue tool.
- Review revenue during month-end process to ensure compliance with ASC 606 related to multiple element contracts and SaaS revenue recognition.
- Calculate Gross and Net client retention on a monthly basis.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3-7 years of relevant experience working as a Financial Analyst or Accountant
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Intermediate to advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel
- Intermediate Dynamics 365 required
- Knowledge of Vena FP&A Software preferred
- Extreme attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Make recommendations for process improvement
- Highly motivated and eager to learn, self-starter
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively interact and communicate with Senior Management
