Job Summary
Instruct justice-involved students in technical training to prepare them to re-enter the job market in the building construction field through lecture, demonstrations, and/or audio-visual aids. JOB SUMMARY
The Adult Education Instructor (Part-time) is a grant-funded position.&nbsp; The selected candidate(s) will work one on one with students to deliver state required curriculum, meeting the educational and career needs of each student through teaching, testing, orientation, counseling and other instructional activities as assigned by the Program Director/Assistant Program Director.

Title: Instructor, Computer Science – 9/10 Month Grant-Funded (Term)
POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for delivering quality instruction in an equitable environment on a variety of computer science topics including a variety of computer programming languages.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Teach computer science courses via on-ground day and evening, hybrid, virtual or web-enhanced delivery modes as assigned. Work with course leads and/or program coordinators/directors to ensure consistent and equitable student experiences. Utilize the College’s learning management system to provide course materials to students. Submit updated department syllabi prior to the first day of class.
Regularly check Nashville State email and departmental mailbox. Respond to emails/messages within 48 hours except on the weekend. Complete all required reports such as student engagement, Early Alerts, progress reports, grade submissions; administer and return surveys and student outcome assessments by the required deadlines. Engage in departmental institutional effectiveness activities. Set and honor scheduled office hours for student conferences.
