Sr. Coordinator, Corporate Communication
Summary of Position
The Senior Coordinator, Corporate Communications is responsible for supporting the department across its various areas of oversight – corporate, internal and financial communications. The Senior Coordinator will be responsible for aligning with the department’s Vice President on the prioritization of their work to support the overall business objectives of the department. This candidate should have a corporate communications background, a strong grasp of the entertainment industry and experience working on financial communications initiatives, including corporate earnings and M&A announcements.
Responsibilities
- Support Chief Communications Officer and department’s Vice President with scheduling and handle other departmental administrative tasks, including processing invoices for payment and corresponding with vendors
- Write and edit written correspondence and materials including corporate press materials and press releases
- Support department with preparation for Board presentations and earnings calls
- Manage trade advertising for department
- Handle internal communications, including putting together weekly press coverage recaps and quarterly fact sheet
- Update executive bios and organize headshot shoots as needed
- Support Vice President in managing television communications, including liaising with internal executives, talent representatives, etc.
- Oversee awards internally for department, including managing calendar and circulating nominations/wins
- Other job duties as assigned to contribute to achieving the department’s business objectives
Qualifications and Skills
- 4+ years of experience in a business-oriented communications environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong writing skills
- Strong computer skills including Internet, Outlook, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organization, time and project management skills
- Strong research ability and experience
- Possess ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize
- Great attention to detail
- Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and work proactively in a fast paced, high volume and deadline-oriented environment with the ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround
- Experience working with high-level executives and maintaining the utmost of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and dealing with professionals inside and outside the company
- A passion for the entertainment industry
Nice to Haves
- MBA or other business experience
- Experience with executive PowerPoint presentations

Compensation
$55,000 – $57,500
