POSITION SUMMARY
The Program Communications Specialist will work closely with the Chief Program Office r to develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy in support of AtlantiCare's large scale initiative, AtlantiCare Powered by Oracle Health . This position is responsible for oversee ing and coordinat ing multi-channel communications across both the organizatio n and functional working groups , ensuring awareness, progress and alignment with the goals of our 27-month IT program implementation.
This role will be responsible for crafting regular , project-based communications that deliver clear, consistent, and high-quality messag es. Th e successful candidate will use a variety of communication tactics to foster transparency, trust, engagement and collaboration across stakeholders . Additionally, this position requires the ability to translate complex IT initiatives and t erminology into easy-to-understand language for non-IT team members , ensuring clarity, understanding and smooth collaboration across all departments.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in communications , journalism, business, marketing , or related field required.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: N/A
EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years' experience in communications, journalism and/or public relations required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong project management, interpersonal, organizational, communication and presentation skills required. Proficiency with computer applications is required. Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure. Strong s upervisory experience required. Healthcare and Healthcare IT experience a plus, but not required .
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
Demonstrates the competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool for this position.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position requires some walking/standing and may have prolonged period of sitting. Works with such equipment as computer terminal, fax machine, printer, telephone and copier. Position requires frequent travel, flexibility of hours including weekends, evenings, and on-call coverage as well as lifting up to 20 lbs. Essential functions of this position are listed on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.

- Serves as the central point of communications for AtlantiCare Powered by Oracle program initiative.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive program communications strategy that supports clear, consistent and timely update to all relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborates with Internal Communications Manager to manage organizational - wide communications that engage and inform team members at all levels of the program's progress . This includ es communications before and after milestone event s, regular program update s, alignment with corporate communication standards.
Working Group Coordination:
- Oversee the creation, editing, and dissemination of project-based communications across various platforms and functional working groups, ensuring team members are on the same page, addressing questions or concerns promptly .
- Support the scheduling and coordination of meetings, documentation, and communications for working groups to keep projects on track.
- Manage communications with 3 rd party partner s, ensuring they are deliver ed on-time, aligned to the project goals , and coordinated with corporate communications.
Project Tracking, Measurement and Reporting:
- Maintain a thorough understanding of project timeline s, deliverables and key milestones to ensure communications align with program goals .
- Assist in developing and delivering clear progress reports, presentations and other program documentation as needed by leadership and stakeholders.
- Establish metrics to measure communication effectiveness , p rovid ing regular updates and insights on communication performance . R ecommendations adjustments to ensure communications reach intended audiences.
