Aspire Health Alliance is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Emergency Services Behavioral Health Clinician to join our dynamic team at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. This position offers an outstanding opportunity for professionals passionate about integrated care and mental health services. The clinician will be stationed within the Emergency Department, working closely with hospital staff to evaluate and provide immediate psychiatric assessment and stabilization services for patients in crisis. The role is pivotal in developing tailored clinical treatment plans in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team. The clinician will extend psychiatric emergency services to children, adults, and families, ensuring that the care provided is both timely and effective. Additionally, the clinician will be responsible for coordinating referrals and community supports that align with the established treatment plans. The role also involves offering clinical consultation to therapists, agencies, or families as required, contributing to a comprehensive support system for patients.

The schedule for this position is Wednesday - Saturday 1pm-11pm.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to assess children and adults in a psychiatric crisis
  • Skills needed to work independently and exhibit sound clinical judgment
  • Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team in a collaborative and professional manner
  • Computer proficiency and ability to complete clinical documentation on an EHR

Required Experience

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field 
  • Knowledge/experience with integrated care or hospital systems is strongly preferred
