Developed under multiple NIH innovation research awards, our client’s product suite includes the #1 market-leading e-learning platform and an exciting new product lineup for hospital systems, community clinics, and health insurance plans.

Our client is seeking a domain expert and thought leader with an interest in sales to join their team of like-minded changemakers. As a Director of Business Development & Solution Evangelism, you will help our client distribute their revolutionary products into a brand-new market space.
While our client is headquartered in NYC, the Director of Business Development & Solution Evangelism can be remote within the United States.
Responsibilities:
This role is critical for the Company’s expansion into health systems and health insurance companies with a new enterprise product suite that emerges from a multi-year R&D effort. You will work closely with our marketing, product development, and research teams. Leveraging our #1 position in the medical education field. As the Director of Business Development & Solution Evangelism will carry out these key responsibilities:
- Achieve a sales quota of $2-3M in year 1.
- Monitor sales activities, tracking progress towards sales goals, and preparing regular reports and updates for management on sales performance, trends, and opportunities.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and actively seek out new potential enterprise clients through networking, referrals, and market research.
- Actively monitor procurement opportunities as well as competitive intelligence in the marketplace.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements that meet both parties' objectives.
- Work closely with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure alignment in strategies and seamless delivery of products or services to clients.
- Champion the advancement of economic prosperity for diverse communities.
Qualifications:
- Degree or certification in a relevant field, such as healthcare, public health, healthcare administration, health informatics, or linguistics.
- At least five years in a healthcare-related role, ideally within patient relations, experience, care coordination, or language services.
- Experience in finance, business, or data analysis, with a demonstrated ability to generate cost savings in healthcare programs.
- Familiarity with healthcare IT, SaaS applications for healthcare, and population health management solutions.
- Proven success in cross-functional collaboration, with strong project management, communication, and organizational skills.
