In this position, you will identify and secure new business opportunities for our Homeland Security portfolio and adjacent markets. The successful candidate will leverage their knowledge, insights, and professional network to promote the Procentrix brand and expand our footprint within DHS. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Identification and analysis of new business opportunities to maintain a robust pipeline that meets business standards and supports the overarching business strategy
  • Collaborate with delivery, capture, and proposal experts to develop effective strategies and solutions, transition from identification to pursuit and submit compelling bids for designated deals
  • Foster relationships with acquisition and program leaders across DHS to promote Procentrix brand
  • Maintain awareness of DHS priorities, programs, and competitive landscape to inform growth strategies
  • Partner with the DHS delivery team to develop and implement comprehensive account and call plans
  • Identify teaming opportunities and promote partner relationships that expand our market footprint
  • Participate in relevant industry events to spotlight Procentrix solutions and capabilities
  • Contribute to RFIs and proposals to create compelling responses

The projected compensation range for this position is $130,000 to $195,000 (annualized USD). The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal pay equity, location, contract-specific affordability and other organizational requirements.

Required Skills
  • 7+ years of business development experience
  • At least 5 years in the Homeland Security market focused on IT modernization and digital transformation pursuits
  • Deep relationships and experience growing business in one or more of the following component agencies: CBP, USCIS, FEMA and/or USCG
  • Successful record qualifying and shaping opportunities >$30M in total contract value
  • Established industry relationships to drive organic and new growth
  • Strong customer engagement skills and ability to communicate benefits of Procentrix capabilities
  • Deep understanding of DHS missions, priorities, programs and procurement processes
  • Expert knowledge of online tools used by the government for solicitations


Desirable Skills
  • Active DHS Public Trust clearance
  • Experience working in the Microsoft ecosystem
  • Experience building business around Microsoft Cloud and application development services
